1 General
1.1 The season will consist of 4 segments –
Segment 1 – 8 races
Segment 2 – 10 races
Segment 3 – 8 races
Segment 4 – 10 races
2 Each segment will cost $25 per player to enter.  $100 per season
1.3 Winners will be declared at the end of each segment paying out to the top 3 finishers.
1st place up to 60%
2nd place 25% (Minimum $50)
3rd place 15% (Minimum $25)
1.4 There are no limits on the number of changes you may make to your team prior to the beginning of each segment
1.5 Team consists of 9 cars in 7 groups.
1.6 Groupings and car positions are based on each car’s current car owner points standings as posted on www.nascar.com
Group 1 – Positions 1-8
Group 2 – Positions 9-16
Group 3 – Positions 17-23
Group 4 – Positions 24-30
Group 5 – Positions 31-35
Group 6 – Positions >35
Group 7 – Provisional
1.7 Provisional Entry – Car not already on your team and listed on the entry list for the current weeks race.  Provisional Pick must be dropped from your team each week and can be used on your team as a provisional pick only once per segment.
1.8 Week 1 – Daytona 500 positions are based on prior season’s final Car owner standings
2 The Play
 2.1 Each week you must drop those cars that do not maintain their position in each of the 7 groups.  These are your weekly mandatory changes and will be highlighted in red in the owner points column
 2.2 Each week you may make up to 4 optional changes, in addition to your mandatory changes.  (You may not add a car that was a mandatory change from rule 2.1.)
 2.3 Each week you may purchase additional changes (above the limit from rule 2.2) for $10 each additional change.  This money will be added to the year end pool and distributed as per rule 5.1
 2.4 All changes must be submitted prior before 10 Central time the day of the race.  If qualifying is rained out positions will be set by NASCAR rules.
 2.5 Any mandatory changes not submitted per rule 2.4 will be changed by the administrator.  The car at the bottom of each group will be substituted working up in the standings.  For groups 6 and 7, administrator will start at position 40 and work up
 2.6 Prior to the beginning of final race in each segment, a player may purchase up to 100 points in increments of 20 points.  $5 for every 20 points, $25 maximum.
 3 Points
 3.1 Point totals will be reset after each segment
3.2 Points are awarded on a decreasing scale according to NASCAR.  Points for top 10 stage finishes will be added.
 3.2  0 points if your car on your team does not make the race
 3.3  0 points if your group 7 car does not make the race
 4 Bonus Points
 4.1 Group 1 car receives no finishing position bonus
 4.2 Group 2 car Wins the race – 25% point bonus for that car
 4.3 Group 3 car finshes in top 5 – 50% point bonus for that car
 4.4 Group 4 car finishes in top 10 – 150% point bonus for that car
 4.5 Group 5 car finishes in top 10 – 200% point bonus for that car
 4.6 Group 6 car finishes in top 10 – 300% point bonus for that car
 4.7 Group 7 car finishes in top   3 – 100% point bonus for cars inside the top 25 in points
 4.8 Group 7 car finishes in top 10 – 300% point bonus for cars outside the top 25 in points
4.9 Car on your team Wins segment 1 – 5 bonus points
4.10 Car on your team Wins segment 2 – 5 bonus points
4.11 Car on your team Wins segment 3 – 10 bonus points
 5 End of Season Pot
5.1 All cash accumulated based on Rule 2.3 and 2.6 will be added to a separate “End of Season” point fund.
5.2 The “End of Season” point fund will be paid to the top 3 season point totals excluding any purchased points from rule 2.6.
5.3 You must participate in all 4 segments in order to qualify for the “End of Season” point fund.
5.4 Payouts will be made as follows: 1st place 75%, 2nd place 15%, 3rd place 5%, and Last place 5%
